Mission Statement

Fenner's Louisiana Battery, (Slidell Battery Inc), is dedicated to the authentic reenactment of life as it was in the 1860’s, with emphasis on portraying the life of the citizens and common soldiers of that period, to promote and stimulate interest in all aspects of the Confederate Army and its civilian life, and to honor the memory of the men and women who served and struggled during War Between the States in order to accurately educate the public.

The Battery's three guns provide awesome firepower and with mounted support, the Battery is able to protect itself from attack.   Pictured below are our guns and many of our members.
